You will have:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting and MBA (highly desirable)
A further financial qualification CFA, CA, ACA, CPA
8-12 years’ professional work experience including a BIG 4 audit and advisory background
Fluent English language skills are mandatory
A confident communicator with a willingness to ask questions and speak up with ideas
Eager to learn and develop, with an ability to understand the bigger picture, as well as the finer details

Senior Manager - Finance Process Development - Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands
The position requires experience with the following modules - SAP FI-CO, ECC, SAP BW, SAP BPC, Blackline and Coupa.
You will be required to lead and participate in process improvement projects, either identified by you or requested from the business, that have a significant impact on financial flows.
Working with a team of both Finance Generalists and Technical Specialists, this role focuses on the continuous improvement of the Finance function through the development and implementation of new technologies and related processes.
Acting as a single point of contact from Finance towards the business, this position ensures that all changes and improvements are compliant, standard, efficient and scalable.
You will lead a team of three Finance System Analysts and an offshore support team, ensuring proper resource allocation between projects, while supporting them in their career development.

The ideal candidate:
A completed degree/equivalent in Finance or other appropriate education
At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience in the field of Finance and Data Analysis; Fashion and Finance experience is a big plus
Strong SAP FI–CO knowledge is a must (know how all other modules interact with FI-CO)
Blackline implementation and system administration is a big plus
Experience in a complex business environment in different areas of Finance; have know-how of Finance processes and systems; have a track record in supporting large projects

Ensure timely and accurate filing of Indirect Tax (Value Added Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Sales/Use Tax, other transaction taxes) returns in various jurisdictions in EMEA and Northern America.
Engage with the parent company to ensure compliance matters are properly adhered to.
Ensure government reporting and remittances are compliant as required by local governments
Monitor Indirect Tax legislation and its impact on the organization.
Ensure that the launches of new projects are compliant with Indirect Tax requirements.
Partner with external consultants with the preparation of working papers to support all EMEA and Northern America Indirect Tax filings for related companies.
Ensure all Indirect Tax accounts are reconciled and cleared every month, while ensuring the appropriate liabilities are settled to the respective jurisdictions.
Management of internal and external Indirect Tax audits.
Experience and skills required for success:

My client, an industrial business headquartered in Switzerland, is currently looking to hire a Head of Accounting Switzerland, reporting directly to the Group CFO with a dotted line to the Country CEO.
You will be leading a large team split between Switzerland and an outsourced SSC in Poland.
The business has been going through some restructuring, including outsourcing part of the Accounting function, so you will need to be confident working in a dynamic environment and support the team through this period of change.
Head of Accounting - Aargaur/Zürich, Switzerland
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a Big 4 background, with further industry experience in a lead Accounting role.
As the Head of Accounting Switzerland, your role will include:
Preparation of half year and annual financial statements under IFRS
Management of a sizeable team, both directly in Switzerland and the vendor relationship with the outsourced partners, covering Accounts Payable, Receivables, General Ledger, VAT, Master Data and SAP FI/CO Support
Preparation of commercial and tax law statements
Coordinate the Accounting activities for a number of Swiss entities
Working closely with the Treasury department to manage country liquidity
Support to the Audit department
Work closely with operational departments and the Country Finance Business Partner
SAP key user
Involvement in a range of ad hoc projects
Degree level qualification or equivalent in Finance and Accounting or related subject. A professional Accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, etc. would be strongly preferred

Experience within a corporate environment is essential, experience with a Big 4 or other consulting environment would be beneficial
Strong people management and communication skills
