Reporting to the Deputy CFO, this role will have responsibility for shaping the new FP&A department, with direct exposure to strategic leadership.

Head of FP&A – Exclusive, Vaud, Switzerland

The main duties and responsibilities of the Head of FP&A are:

• Monitoring and explanation of the financial status of the organisation on a daily basis for the senior leadership
• Steering budgeting and forecasting, covering all departments and ongoing projects, and consolidating for understanding by non-Finance, KPI setting
• Manage the FP&A team to deliver high-quality analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive financial performance, long range (5 years) planning
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure the FP&A function is embedded and valued
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the FP&A function

The main skills required by the Head of FP&A are:

• Significant skills in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality analysis and insights
• Proven experience in managing and working through change – ability to get into the details when necessary
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial modelling skills – budget/forecast vs actual, making objectives happen in reality
• Excellent presentation, communication and social skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels – Finance and non-Finance
• Fluency in English, both written and oral

As an FP&A Specialist, you will be joining a diverse team of eight people within a corporate structured business that has a family feel and an open-door policy.

FP&A Specialist, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Processing of bond interest payments in a timely manner
• Treasury reporting on a quarterly basis
• Creating, maintaining and updating related Treasury policies and procedures
• Assisting with project assignments, future digital automation and financial reporting, initiating improvements through continuous review of processes
• Assist Tax and Legal on corporate and financial restructuring

Requirements:

Essential:

• 5+ years of working experience in FP&A
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Management
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (models/formulas)
• Confidence in obtaining internal and external date and compiling forecasting
• Excellent communication and the ability to build relationships within the team and across the board
• Ability to prioritise workload, while working on multiple tasks to strict deadlines, with the desire to work in a stimulating, international environment

Desirable:

• Previous Treasury experience is not essential, as full training is given, but would be beneficial

On behalf of our multi-national client in Canton Vaud, we are seeking a Financial Business Partner.

In this newly created role, the successful candidate will be responsible for back office cost control and reporting, and the overall corporate finance analysis by division.

Given the central nature of the role, you will have frequent direct contact with strategic leadership and development offered by a best-in-class management team.

Finance Business Partner - Exclusive, Vaud, Switzerland

The main duties of the Financial Business Partner are:

• 50% establishing Finance support for back office, including HR, 50% consolidation and dissemination of business information for 8 divisions
• Establishing new reporting and delivery channels with existing management team – presenting financial performance to corporate and divisional leadership
• Assisting on major projects, e.g. SAP implementation
• Financial analysis, insights, leading scenario preparation and valuation
• Setting up KPIs and managing data, training users on the BI tool (Power BI)
• Driving Finance cycles, challenging the status quo of divisional budgets
• Assessing risks in financial plans, developing mitigation plan with the business

The skills you will require as the Financial Business Partner are:

• Strong big data management skills – Power BI
• A sense of self-motivation/drive and a customer focus
• Excellent technical understanding of overheads, financial and business controlling, and business partnering experience
• Proven experience in change management
• Ability to both “do” and “tell a story”, interpreting the big picture for senior stakeholders, while delivering daily BP tasks
• English language

Responsibilities of the Controller Group Reporting & Consolidation

Within this role you will be involved in the preparation of the monthly consolidation processes (in accordance with IFRS) and the preparation of the monthly management reporting and analysis.

You will be involved with the following tasks:

• Reviewing and approval of companies in Hyperion
• Analysing reports to improve the control of activities
• Participation in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly management reports

Financial Analyst – Exclusive, North Gelderland/Hybrid Working, Netherlands

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:

• Review and consolidate the monthly initial hedge, weekly corrective trades and netting trades for various entities
• Prepare commentary of variances to plan/latest best estimates (LBE) for management reviews
• Assist Global Supply Planning and Customer Logistics, providing analytics, insights and guidance as needed
• Support Corporate Treasury and EMEA Treasury requests as needed
• Support the development and reporting of actuals, plan and LBEs for foreign exposures
• Document key changes in new/revised Product Financial Flows (PFFs) and assess any impact on foreign currency exposures
• Maintain compliance with Corporate Finance Manual (CFM) policies and internal procedures
• Assist with key projects to drive process improvement
• Develop strong partnership with Treasury, Tax, Commercial Affiliates, and Integrated Planning
• Provide (Power BI) analysis and KPIs to support opportunities for improved forecast accuracy
• Work closely with Integrated Planning to evaluate risk mitigation strategies when change in forecast impacts foreign exposure

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance or similar
• 2+ years’ work experience in a Finance or Accounting role (banking background is a plus)
• Good analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
• Good communicator and good at building strong relationships
• Previous exposure working within a global organisation beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, knowledge of SAP and Power BI is an advantage
