Corporate Social Responsibility

Promoting a socially conscious culture

EMEA Recruitment is proud to promote a socially conscious culture through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee and policy.

We are excited to be embarking on various projects that we hope will make a positive social impact, including steps to reduce damage to the environment and support for more disadvantaged groups of people.

EMEA Recruitment works with international medical charity Operation Smile as the official partner of our podcast.

Operation Smile delivers free surgery to children and adults suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate. We’re hoping to raise vital funds and awareness of this work through our partnership.

As the partner of the EMEA Recruitment podcast, Operation Smile is hoping to change numerous lives. Listeners will hear about the worldwide impact of the charity and be encouraged to donate to the cause.

It’s a charity close to our Founder, Paul Toms’ heart, as he was born with a cleft lip and palate. The whole EMEA Recruitment team is dedicated to supporting this cause as part of our wider Corporate Social Responsibility mission.

We are also proud to support She Matters, a social enterprise recruitment agency based in the Netherlands. The organisation matches refugee women with employment opportunities aligned with their advanced education and skillsets.

In 2020, we co-hosted events in London and the Netherlands for Global Senior HR and Talent Acquisition Managers, in partnership with She Matters and Mercer Group, to promote the organisation’s mission.

EMEA Recruitment believes that the little things we do can make a big difference, too. Our CSR committee is making plans for more, large-scale projects, but is also implementing small changes, including:

  • Our offices have moved to paper-free alternatives
  • We source food for our offices from local suppliers
  • We use eco-friendly products in our offices
