My client, a large global business in the food sector, seeks a Lauric Oil Sourcing Manager – Indonesia.

As a Lauric Oil Sourcing Manager – Indonesia, you will be responsible for supporting the lauric oil portfolio globally through close knit relationships with local partners in South East Asia and ensuring local supply chain needs are met, managing tactical and operational requirements, whilst supporting the wider global oils team with strategy planning.

My client is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced oils buyer to manage key commercial relationships and sourcing across the region for the lauric oils portfolio focusing on CNO and PKO.

The successful candidate will have a passion for procurement and sustainable sourcing with existing local industry knowledge.

 We are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

• Confident in sourcing lauric oils and managing local operational delivery  
• Degree qualified – ideally in a business or finance related field
• Essential that you have experience in either palm or coconut oil within Indonesia – ideally in a Supply Chain or Procurement function
• Experience working for or with larger originators across South East Asia is highly desirable
• Knowledge of the local market and small hold farmers would also be highly desirable
• Fluent/Advanced English and Bahasa Indonesia are essential, other languages are beneficial particularly Malay or Jawa
