Job Description

In collaboration with our client, a large multi-national business operating in the FMCG sector, we are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative – B2B to be based out of the Walloon office, with some flexibility offered on home working. 


Customer Service Representative – B2B, Walloon Region, Belgium (hybrid) 


This position would suit a dynamic, driven and motivated candidate who, as a Customer Service Representative – B2B, will act as the primary point of contact for business customers.


You will also be responsible for managing customer demands and expectations from order to delivery, to ensure a consistently high quality of service.


To do this, typically, the internal functions that this role will communicate with include: Sales, Marketing, Financial Services, Logistics, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations across one local and two international production sites. 


Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative role are: 

  • Liaising with customers from order to delivery, monitoring progress and expediting where needed to ensure customer satisfaction and ensuring on-time delivery 
  • Utilising previous sales data and customer forecasts to ensure sufficient stock is available within production plants, collaborating with colleagues here to manage predicted shortages or delays 
  • Managing customer complaints and proactively seeking productive solutions by communicating with different sites and internal stakeholders 


For the Customer Service Representative – B2B position, we are looking for high caliber candidates with the following: 

  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a similar customer-facing position, with exposure to Production and Logistics functions 
  • An international mindset, with mandatory fluency in English and preferably both or one of Dutch and French languages at a native or bilingual competency 
  • Experience of SAP and Excel valued 
  • Excellency in communication and aptitude for fostering positive relationships with colleagues and customers alike
