GL Accountant - Exclusive

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is searching for a GL Accountant on behalf of our client, a multi-national organization operating in the energy sector.

As the GL Accountant, you will be part of a high-performing team working closely with multiple entities across EMEA.

For this position, there is a chance for progression due to the consistent growth in the business and you will play a key role in managing day-to-day intercompany accounting activities.

Responsibilities of the GL Accountant:

• Balance sheet reconciliation of GL accounts
• Journal entry posting
• Clearance of balance sheet accounts and lead sheet reviews
• Liaising with controller teams on balance position
• Maintaining and monitoring AR
• Inter-company monthly and weekly AR & AP accruals

Candidate requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting
• Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
• Fluent in English, French is advantageous
• Experience with SAP
