EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a multinational energy company in its search for a Buyer to join their team in Amsterdam.
The Buyer will ensure timely and quality sourcing of all goods and services for a variety of operations.
The successful Buyer will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders and will receive an attractive salary, bonus, and benefits package.
Responsibilities of the Buyer:
Prepare requests for quotation documents
Creation of contracts and purchase orders in the ERP system
Liaising with suppliers, engineers, and project management
Manage claims and track vendors' feedback
Stock availability verification
Evaluating and negotiating POs at a local and international level
Experience required:
2-4 years of experience in a Buyer role or similar
Experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshoring, or similar
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Fluent in English, Dutch preferable
