Job Description

EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a multinational energy company in its search for a Buyer to join their team in Amsterdam.

The Buyer will ensure timely and quality sourcing of all goods and services for a variety of operations.

The successful Buyer will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders and will receive an attractive salary, bonus, and benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Buyer:

• Prepare requests for quotation documents
• Creation of contracts and purchase orders in the ERP system
• Liaising with suppliers, engineers, and project management
• Manage claims and track vendors' feedback
• Stock availability verification
• Evaluating and negotiating POs at a local and international level

Experience required:

• 2-4 years of experience in a Buyer role or similar
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshoring, or similar
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Fluent in English, Dutch preferable
