Senior GL Accountant

EMEA Recruitment is delighted to work with our client, an international business within the life sciences sector, to recruit a Senior GL Accountant for its Accounting team.

This role will give you exposure to different business departments from Finance, to FP&A and Business Operations.

As Senior GL Accountant, duties will include:

• Preparing general ledger entries in accordance with accounting standards (US GAAP)

• Prepare financial reports, balance sheet reviews and analysis

• Perform monthly and quarterly closings

• Maintain the fixed asset register

The ideal candidate:

• Strong experience within an Accounting role - ideally within a multinational
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Experience working with both Big 4 audit firms and multinational companies is preferred
• General understanding of taxation (both direct and indirect taxes)
