Senior Tax Specialist

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established company in the electrical engineering industry. We are searching for a Senior Tax Specialist to join their Copenhagen office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate tax compliance, overseeing tax reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business initiatives.

As the Senior Tax Specialist, you will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure the company's tax strategy aligns with both Danish and international standards, contributing to business integrity and optimized decision-making.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Tax Specialist:

• Ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations by managing filings and overseeing tax provisioning for accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee and prepare tax reporting processes, including disclosures for the annual report under IFRS and local GAAP
• Provide advisory support on tax implications for strategic decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate initiatives
• Keep current with tax legislation (VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing) and continuously improve tax compliance processes

Your profile:

• University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting, preferably within an international or regional setting
• Strong knowledge of Danish tax law and familiarity with IFRS and local GAAP standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
