Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a growing civil engineering business, based in South Holland, that is seeking a Finance professional in Accounting or Control who will step into the role of a Junior Controller to support and grow in the financial control department.

Working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, this is a unique opportunity for a Finance professional to step into the role of a Junior Controller and take on more responsibility and recognition.

This position will suit someone who is proactive, self-driven and has good social skills, along with a strong technical mindset.

Hybrid working is available for this position.

The main duties of the Junior Controller are:
  • Supporting the month end close activities as well as forecasting and reporting
  • Coordinate budget allocation across multiple departments
  • Manage internal stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT and other business units
  • Support process improvement projects
The skills required for the Junior Controller role:
  • 2 years of relevant Finance experience; working in Accounting or Control
  • Understanding of the month end close, forecasting, reporting and budget allocation processes
  • Good internal stakeholder management skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance
  • Fluent in English, (Dutch is a plus)
  • Strong IT proficiency
