Procurement Excellence Manager

Job Description

Our client, a globally recognised brand in the retail sector, is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to join its team based near Stäfa.

This role is key to the successful growth of the procurement function as the company continues its strategic growth across EMEA and other regions.

The Procurement Excellence Manager will create and implement a best-practice procurement strategy as well as identify appropriate technology, contract management systems, reporting tools and initiatives that address risk, sustainability and ESG criteria.

Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement Excellence, your duties will include:
  • Create best practices, manage procurement technologies and lead category management to optimise processes and enhance efficiency
  • Establish strong supplier relationships, oversee contract management, and ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Design and implement initiatives focused on sustainability and ESG criteria to support corporate responsibility goals
  • Lead and develop the Procurement Excellence team and utilise reporting tools to monitor and improve procurement performance and identify cost-saving opportunities

The role of Procurement Excellence Manager will suit someone with the following experience:
  • 5+ years of experience implementing procurement processes in the retail sector
  • Category Management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
