EMEA Recruitment is delighted to continue our exclusive recruitment partnership with Congo Brands in its search for a Senior Category Development Manager.

Congo Brands manages a number of high-profile drinks brands, most notably Prime Hydration, the fastest growing and most exciting brand in the beverage sector.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Category Development Manager to be based at the newly established European headquarters in Zug (with a hybrid work pattern).

Responsibilities of the Senior Category Development Manager:

  • Conduct category analysis and identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation
  • Provide strategic input to Marketing and Sales teams on promotional programs, pricing strategies, and product assortments that meet customer needs and drive sales
  • Execute category strategies that deliver sales and profit growth for the company
  • Use data-driven insights to influence assortment decisions and shelf placement
  • Monitor and interpret industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and decision making
  • Bring information to life when presenting key information and findings to colleagues
  • This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy & Analytics in Canada

Ideal profile:

  • Significant Category Management experience within a fast-paced international business in the FMCG sector, ideally beverages
  • Experience of working with syndicated data platforms (SPINS, Nielsen, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data visualisation tools, such as Power BI
  • Passion for learning and development, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills
