EMEA Recruitment is excited to be exclusively partnering with a leading global service company in Zug/Zurich who are looking to appoint a Group Head of Controlling to their Finance team.

As Head of Controlling, you will be leading and developing an international controlling team whilst being responsible for all Group Controlling tasks such as monthly revenue recognition and providing regular analysis and comments on estimates and forecasts.

The Head of Controlling position will include a mix of strategic and operational duties:

  • Regular analysis and contributions to estimates and forecasts
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of financial BI tool
  • Strategic improvement of the global controlling department
  • Lead the international controlling team
  • Perform monthly controlling tasks, revenue recognition and profitability and cost reviews
  • Present and comment on monthly profit reviews with high level senior management (regional CEOs)
  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting
  • Oversight and influence on pricing methodology
  • Management of controlling and SAP and BI tool, liaising with Shared Service Centre in India
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the Group CFO

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Experience in Controlling and Cost Accounting within a service providing company
  • Good knowledge of pricing methodology
  • Analytical, structured and strong problem solving mindset
  • Technically adept - able to handle vast sets of data and strong reporting capabilities
  • Very good English skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in a multi-national environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • SAP experience is desired

  • Internal Audit Leader

    My client is currently looking to expand their Internal Audit team by hiring a Lead Auditor, with a global scope, based at their headquarters in Basel. 

    The team has a strong team spirit, with a very supportive and collaborative approach, where team members are encouraged to bring ideas to the table and shape the longer-term development of the Audit function within the business.

    This is an end-to-end Audit role, where you will be responsible for the full scope of audit engagements, with a strong advisory and business partnering focus.

    The environment is very ‘freestyle’ so this role could be ideally suited to someone working in a consulting environment, used to coming into new environments and developing audit plans from scratch.

    The business is also developing data analytics capabilities within Audit so someone with experience in this area could add significant value.
