Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with our global client as they look to recruit a temporary German speaking HR Generalist.

 

As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle across a range of countries. You will also be responsible for HR related projects and be the first point of contact for employees and managers within your remit.

 

You will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders within Germany, therefore being able to communicate in German is essential.

 

As the HR Generalist, you will be expected to proactively identify and initiate internal improvements and processes, which may include responsibilities that will expand beyond the job description.

 

The ideal candidate will look to drive positive change and be a real team player.

 

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • You will manage the employee lifecycle from hire to retire and support payroll for approximately 115 employees across Germany and other European countries
  • Support line managers and employees with annual performance reviews, talent management,

performance management and training needs identification

  • Advise management in any organizational change for the countries such as restructuring, succession planning and legal affairs
  • Follow both internal and external processes to ensure employment legislation and compliance is adhered
  • Provide support for employees locating to the areas and assisting with the onboarding process pre-day one and post-day one
  • Contacts for employees and the line in all wages, social security and taxation matters

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven background working as a HR Generalist with knowledge of local German labour law, tax and social insurance
  • Ideally qualified with relevant HR certification or relevant experience
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Be able to communicate in German with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience working within a global function is advantageous
  • Available for a quick turnaround
