Job Description

Our global FMCG client is experiencing sustained growth and expansion. As such, they have identified a need to bring in a Supply Chain Optimisation Manager to help lead their multi-site, global transformation.


As Supply Chain Optimisation Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding the global business to enhance its E2E Supply Chains long-term strategic growth plans across a global team, using strong analytical skills.


Supply Chain Optimisation Manager, Hanover, Germany


You will bring previous experience of working closely with operational sites, identifying improvements plans across Sourcing, Production, Logistics, Warehousing and Customer Service, and how to synchronise these across multiple sites.


With strong project management skills, you will bring proven leadership skills to build cross-functional relations while utilising your strong lean ethos to drive KPIs reviews, enhancements and training needs to elevate all internal customers.


As Supply Chain Optimisation Manager, we are looking for high calibre leaders with the following skillsets:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level in Engineering, Business Administration or Mathematics
  • A minimum of 5 years‘ experience in an FMCG style industry is a strong advantage with a proven background in leadership and people management
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, TPM initiatives is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, proven experience of using data-driven projects to influence change
  • Language skills: fluent English is mandatory, with a strong command of German or French being advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience with organisational change and development within a large matrix company, managing change programmes and teams through this
  • Proven leadership and analytical skills, ideally having introduced digitalisation projects into their businesses - focused on KPIs enhancements across E2E SC initaitives
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively
  • Willingness to travel (can be around 50%)
