EMEA Recruitment is excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a global leader in commercial real estate investments.
This role is based in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Part of the Investment department, which is responsible for the property, lease and financial administration of the Dutch portfolios
- Work closely with the external property managers, who are responsible for the financial administration and lease administration at a complex level
- Coordinating and supervising the quarterly closings
- Point of contact for the client when it comes to fund-wide processes and issues
- Point of contact for the external audit
- Preparing and supervising the various budget rounds in which the entire portfolio is updated
- Supervising the onboarding of new Dutch clients/new funds
Experience and qualifications:
- Completed HBO or WO education in a financial direction
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as Dutch GAAP, IFRS and Accounting principles
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally at an accountancy firm
- Good communication and social skills, with a customer-oriented attitude
- High sense of responsibility and independence
- Analytical and accurate
Languages:
Fluent in Dutch and English.
