R2R Accountant - Exclusive

EMEA Recruitment is working with our global FMCG client in its search for an R2R Accountant to oversee the Belgium and Netherlands entities.

Based in the Amsterdam HQ, this role reports into the Financial Controller for Commercial Entities.

R2R Accountant – Exclusive, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands / Hybrid Working

Responsibilities of the R2R Accountant:

• Take full ownership of the balance sheet for Netherlands and Belgium specific accounts
• Act as a facilitator of the end-to-end month end close processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations and US GAAP requirements
• Partial preparation of quarterly analytical and reporting packs in accordance with the Netherlands and Belgium requirements
• Prepare the statutory annual accounts according to the local GAAP
• Ensure smooth external audit process for both US and local GAAP audits

Skills and experience:

• BSc in Accounting/Business
• Minimum of 4 years’ Financial Accountancy and Commercial experience
• Solid and practical working experience of SAP, HFM and Microsoft Office packages
• Proven track record of leading and coordinating with a BPO/SSC organization
• Knowledge ideally with both Belgian GAAP and Dutch GAAP

Languages:

• Fluent English, both written and spoken
