Responsibilities of the Manager Financial Control

 

You will be responsible for organizing the work for the team, for the accounting, financial closing cycle, statutory reporting, VAT and corporate income tax returns, and overhead reporting.

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Managing the Financial Control team of 10 FTE

Responsible for the compliance, accounting and reporting of 25 private limited companies

Supervising and reviewing the work of the VAT Manager

Preparing corporate income tax returns for all Dutch companies, with the external service provider and internal Tax team

Preparing Dutch local file for transfer pricing with the external service provider

Coordinating the annual overhead budgeting process for the NL companies and corporate group overheads

Monitoring and reviewing the admin of offshore holding companies

Staying up to date on relevant developments within accounting principles (IFRS)

Support corporate restructurings

 

Experience required:

 

Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field

RA/RE/CPA qualified or equivalent

7 years’ working experience in an international Audit team

Experience in a Dutch company is a preference

Previous people and managerial skills, with 3 years’ experience in a managerial role

Experience in corporate income tax

Problem solving, with the ability to identify key issues while paying attention to detail

Hold a practical and proactive attitude

Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing)
