Job Description

Work for a global, privately-held real estate developer as Project Controller, a key role in the Accounting department, with exposure directly into senior management.

Responsibilities of the Project Controller

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Assume responsibility for operational financial processes, such as: accounting, treasury, invoicing, payments for portfolio companies
  • Become responsible for budget monitoring for portfolio
  • Review financial reports
  • Key contact for banks (operational matters and debt compliance) and be a key player in debt-raising projects
  • Coordinate tax advisors and contribute to tax planning
  • Identify cost saving and revenue increasing opportunities
  • Contribute to Asset Management team in providing accurate and timely data and communication with investors (funds)
  • Oversee from financial side development projects
  • Assist Acquisition team with underwriting, due-diligence and (tax) structuring for acquisitions (and disposals)

 

Experience required

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration/Economy/Finance or related field
  • 5 years’ working experience with international exposure in Big 4, real estate or private equity
  • Problem solving with the ability to identify key issues while paying attention to detail
  • Eager to learn and stress resilient
  • Hold a practical and proactive attitude, with a drive to grow
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing)
