Job Description

Work for a global FMCG tech company as Record to Report Team Lead within the R2R team and support a quality service to the stakeholders.

 

As RTR Team Lead, you will drive a talented team that manages the day-to-day accounting activities. Your ability to multi-task will be vital, with responsibilities ranging from processing tax filings to managing bank transactions and other accounting entries.

Responsibilities of the Record to Report Team Lead:

 

You will be involved with the following tasks:

  • Lead and supervise the accounting and internal reporting activities for a team of 3 direct reports
  • Deliver and present reliable financials monthly
  • Preparation of the monthly balance sheet and profit & loss flux analysis
  • Performing high quality balance sheet reconciliations
  • Act as the main point of contact for external and internal auditors
  • Ensuring timely delivery of information requested by auditors and building relationships with the tax authorities
  • Preparation and filing statutory reports and other regulatory reports
  • Continuously driving improvement in quality and efficiency in new processes and systems to optimise the department’s workflow and ensure SOX compliance

 

Experience required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance or similar
  • 6+ years’ proven general ledger experience as an Accountant or similar
  • Experience in resolving complex accounting issues and transactions
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational skills, and the ability to take charge and drive results
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities efficiently, while meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment with plenty of change
  • Strong social skills, and the ability to inspire and interact well with team members and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, with experience in Workday and OneStream or similar is desirable
  • Practical attitude, strong communication skills, with a proactive demeanour
  • Strong communication in English, both verbally and in writing, with Dutch being desirable
