Job Description
Our client, a global leader in logistics, are expanding their Finance function due to their recent growth and re-structure and are now recruiting for a Financial Analyst FP&A, sitting within the Direct Cost Team.
This role offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself within the financial reporting and analysis servicing multiple stakeholders across the group.
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst FP&A
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:?€?
- Reporting monthly financial results for Third Party Manufacturing (TPM), Internal Toll Manufacturing (ITM) or Supply Chain activities from two legal entities in the Netherlands
- Create, align, and submit monthly performance estimates and yearly Financial Performance Plan
- Develop and maintain Internal Control Framework related to inventory valuation
- Support product launches and ensure end-to-end Finance readiness
- Assess impact and coordinate Finance activities related to changes in Product Financial Flows
- Act as point of contact for the Supply department regarding planned shipments, material cost and spend
- Optimize finance systems/models and help roll out global project implementations
- Support stakeholders with costing information upon request
- Support in master data set-up and costing of all active materials in two legal entities
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Economics, Accountancy or similar
- 2-3 years’ experience in a comparable FP&A or Accounting position
- Understanding of US and local GAAPs, internal controls and financial reporting is preferable
- Previous experience working with logistical process and/or an international matrix organisation would be an advantage but not essential
- A knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Accurate, with good analytical skills, project management skills and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
