Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is pleased to be working with one of the world’s leading FMCG businesses in Rotterdam, which is in search of an Operations Controller to join its exciting, growing business.

 

The experienced Operations Controller will be responsible for managing the business’ master data, cost control and all function relating to its Supply Chain team. This will involve budgeting, forecasting and evaluation of business risk and opportunity.

 

For the successful Operations Controller, there is scope to grow as a key business partner, as well as a chance to progress your career to become a senior stakeholder internationally.

Key responsibilities of the Operations Controller:

  • To calculate, monitor and control the cost of goods sold (intercompany pricing, frieght and other surcharges)
  • Monitoring and reporting on purchase price variances
  • Support calculations on business cases
  • Managing distribution and control
    • Reporting on inventory management
    • Tracking warehouse distribution and working closely with Supply Chain
  • Assisting with the order to cash process
  • Checking post goods issues and billing documents
  • Managing master data
  • Working closely with the Sales Controller to maintain pricing
  • Supporting Financial Control and Business Control with regards to month-end close

 

Requirements:

  • Business Economics/Business Administration/Accounting degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position (FMCG)
  • Experience with accounting and reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SAP knowledge
  • Knowledge of BI tools
  • Fluent English
  • Hybrid working
