Work for a global FMCG tech company as Record to Report Lead within the R2R team, providing a quality service to the stakeholders.
Based within the Netherlands, supporting the German entity, this role offers you accountability for delivering R2R services with the responsibility of managing and motivating a small team of Accountants.

Duties of the Record to Report Lead
You will be involved with the following tasks:
- Manage and supervise the accounting and internal reporting activities for the North Europe reporting segment
- Optimize the financial accounting and internal reporting process
- Contribute to the development of overall accounting and reporting process
- Manage up to 4 direct reports
- Provide guidance and assistance to team of Accountants
- Act as the main point of contact for external and internal auditors
- Communicate financial/business impact and provide recommendations
- Assisting with various ad-hoc activities
Experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance, with a professional qualification (CPA/ACCA)
- Previous experience working in an R2R domain
- Previous experience in managing a team
- Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines
- Previous exposure working within the German market
- Project management, with a willingness to deliver in changing environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, with experience in Workday and OneStream or similar
- Practical attitude, strong communication skills, with a proactive demeanour
- Passion to improve processes, with previous experience in process design using best practice
- Great communication skills in English and German, both verbally and in writing
