Recycled Raw Materials Implementation Manager

EMEA Recruitment are working with a global market player in plastic manufacturing in it’s search for Recycled Raw Materials Implementation Manager.

The role will report into the Procurement Director Raw Materials. This is a brand new role and will offer great exposure to senior leadership in the business.

The Recycled Raw Materials Implementation Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a new network of suppliers for recycled materials initially across the European market. There will be a real focus on growing the usage of recycled materials and the strategic risk management associated with this.

Other responsibilities will include managing multiple stakeholder relationships internally to allow for cross-functional cooperation within the business.

Essential duties of the Recycled Raw Materials Implementation Manager:

• Develop and maintain the strategic sourcing of recycle raw materials
• Creating a network with collectors, recyclers and compounders
• Contribute to the global sourcing plan
• Oversee and deliver annual value improvements and selection strategics/processes
• Track performance of sub-category spend
• Manage stakeholder relationships within the key groups
• Support with relevant short term raw material price information to assist commercial decision making

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Management
• Solid understanding of polymers (PP, PE, PVC)
• People management experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Understanding of circular economy within the polymer processing industry
• Excellent knowledge of recycling and ESG
