Job Description

Our client, a fast-growing company with a culture that cultivates change and innovation to drive it forward, is currently looking for an IT Project Manager.

The business has an excellent track record of attracting and retaining top talent, which is related to its ethos of giving people responsibility, promoting solo working, and allowing people to learn/develop through their own initiatives.

It is currently looking to hire an IT Project Manager, who will be a member of the global team and coordinate projects in various locations worldwide.

The IT Project Manager will be based in Barcelona and can benefit from a hybrid working option.

This role is responsible for the planning, execution, organization and finalization of IT-related programs and/or projects, as well as the oversight of assigned projects within the application and infrastructure domains.

Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager will include:

  • Develop, execute and manage projects, leading all aspects of the project lifecycle
  • Define and track project milestones with timescales
  • Work with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members and management, managing all outsources technical support and 3rd party project consultants 
  • Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, on budget and with quality, managing project financials
  • Capture project issues, ensure clear ownership of resolutions and track to closure, escalating pending decisions and significant issues to project sponsors

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required, preferably managing IT infrastructure initiatives and/or ERP initiatives
  • PMP certification (preferred) – CSM certification is a plus
  • ITIL Release Manager/Change Manager experience (preferred)
  • Fluency in English
