Senior Accountant

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful B2C business in Basel, that is looking for a Senior Accountant due to expansion.

Reporting into the Senior Accounting Manager, and working within a team of 7, responsibilities of this role include general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

Senior Accountant, Basel/Hybrid Working, Switzerland

Other duties of the Senior Accountant, will include:

• Analysing financial statements monthly and report variances to support budgets/forecasts
• Assisting with financial audits, including explanation of Accounting processes and preparing supporting documents
• Assisting with quarterly reports
• Monitoring and documenting internal controls
• Preparing cost and profitability analysis
• Guiding and assisting junior members of the team
