Accounting Manager

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful B2C business in Basel that is looking for an Accounting Manager due to expansion.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a growing team, with an excellent progression path to senior management.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage a small team that is responsible for an array of Accounting functions including general ledger accounting, audit preparation, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Other duties of the Accounting Manager will include:

• IFRS review and memo writing for complex accounting issues – for external audit processes
• Key stakeholder for quarterly, interim and year end audit
• Preparation of analytical review analysis for auditors
• Liaising with internal departments in relation to budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing monthly reporting packs for group
• Reviewing processes and automating to gain efficiency in current processes

The Ideal Candidate:

We are keen to hear from Accounting professionals with experience of managing and leading a team within an international environment.

• IFRS experience is a must
• SAP experience is desirable
