EMEA Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with one of our renowned international clients in its search for a Group Controller. 
 
The role offers hybrid working, with the office situated in Zug.
 
Group Controller – Exclusive, Zug, Switzerland / Hybrid Working
 
Reporting to the VP of Business Finance & Controlling, this role is instrumental to the success and growth of the company globally, and will also play a key part in helping to continuously improve financial processes.
 
Within this role, you be actively involved in profitability analysis, annual budget development/setting, and production of information enabling improved decision making. 
 
Your exposure across the business will be far reaching, resulting in a varied and interesting opportunity.
 
 
Key responsibilities as Group Controller:
 
• Preparation of strategic and operational analysis during monthly and quarterly closing 
• Responsible for reporting and financial modelling - develop and implement reporting and analytical models
• Be the link between business and Finance, and maintain accuracy and quality of reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
• Ensure consistency of reporting across the business
• Present insightful analysis and effectively highlight key points enabling strategic decisions to be made
• Create and maintain P&L reports
 
Ideal profile:
 
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience of working at the group and/or divisional level of a multi-national business
• Industrial/manufacturing production controlling background is preferred
• Technologically adept with experience of SAP/Power BI or similar systems
• Experienced in the use of CAPEX
• Strong communication skills and experience of presenting to senior management
