EMEA Recruitment is pleased to work with our fast-growing fintech client in its search for a CFO, located in Amsterdam.

As Chief Financial Officer, you will be leading the company’s Finance team, ensuring that any and all reporting is done in a timely and ordinary fashion.

You will be an important member of the leadership team, working in close cooperation with the COO and the Group CFO.

The successful candidate will understand that the Dutch EMI licence has important (tax) reporting obligations and is a major contribution to the value of the brand.

Key responsibilities of the CFO:

• Follow strict reporting deadlines
• Responsible for the monthly consolidated reporting to the Group CFO
• Timely reporting to regulator(s) and tax agencies
• Managing the Finance team and primary point of contact for the Accountants
• Develop KPIs and dashboards
• Manage treasury risk
• Manage safeguarding requirements
• Manage and control the company’s insurance portfolio
• Provide ad-hoc advice to the Group CFO
• Contribute to shareholder and supervisory board reports

Experience required:

• At least 7 years’ professional experience
• Fintech experience essential
• Excellent team player and strong communication skills
• Master’s in Finance or Accountancy
• Strong managerial experience
• Extensive knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
• Has the ability to communicate at different levels
• Fluent English
