EMEA Recruitment are currently looking for a Financial Business Analyst to work for a real estate business in the Amsterdam area. Our client is a market leader in their industry with properties across Europe.

The Financial Business Analyst role offers the opportunity for a driven analyst to be involved in reporting and analysis of financial results and activities.

Financial Business Analyst, Amsterdam, NL

Responsibilities of the Financial Business Analyst:

• Assisting with the annual budgeting process
• Periodically analysing of actuals vs budget for the P&L as well as Capex
• Implementing and performing periodic controls of several processes within the firm (purchase order creation, invoicing, etc.)
• Analysing financial results to review performance of the portfolio
• Ad-hoc analyses to support senior management
• Support financial controllers during GAAP/IFRS quarterly reporting

Your profile and soft skills:

• Master’s degree in Finance
• 2-4 years’ experience in performing financial and other data analyses
• Attention to detail
• Fast learner, self-learner
• Can work under pressure and prioritize activities
• Presentation and communication skills
• Both independent and team worker

Required hard skills:

• Proficient in MS Excel (PivotTables, lookups, SUMIFS/SUMPRODUCT, text functions, charts)
• PowerPoint
• Power Query (incl. M language), Power Pivot (incl. DAX), Power BI
• SQL & VBA (advantageous)
• Fluent in English
