EMEA Recruitment is pleased to share an exclusive Credit Controller assignment, working for a successful manufacturing company based in Amsterdam.


Credit Controller Benelux, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands


As Credit Controller, you will be working in the Accounts Receivable department. You will oversee collection of accounts receivable in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

Duties of the Credit Controller Benelux:

  • Maintain AR data and related actions in the Credit Control tool
  • Making AR account reconciliations
  • Maintain AR reporting for use within the Credit Control team
  • Interact with 3rd-party collection agencies
  • Initiate collection process
  • Contact debtors on open AR positions by phone and email
  • Provide account statements, handling reminder letters
  • Handle incoming tickets (calls and emails) from debtors
  • Assist other Finance and Support teams with AR-related topics
  • On a daily basis, communicate with Sales organisation on AR-related topics
  • Effectively communicating with Finance colleagues and any other business stakeholders



  • BA degree in Finance/Accounting or experience in a similar role
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in Credit Control



  • Previous experience at an international company, ideally scale-up or technology company
  • Experience with business-to-business and business-to-consumer customers
  • All round knowledge on Credit Control, plus order to cash processes and best practices
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and database software, building and maintaining AR reports and dashboards
  • Friendly and respectful, but persistent when interacting with customers
  • Must be able to adapt to new circumstances easily and quickly
  • Able and willing to handle both business and end-user customers, including phone calls and administrative tasks
  • Proactive team player



  • Fluent in English and Dutch - additional language, such as French or German, would be advantageous, but not essential.
