Finance System Development Senior Manager (PTP), Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands

We are currently recruiting exclusively for a newly created position, Senior FP&A Analyst, to join its centralised Finance function, working as part of a small, key team.

This role will focus on the Research and Development business area, covering all stages of drug development, and will have a focus on the financial management of clinical/medical portfolios.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join a growing team in a hands-on, broad business partner role.

Your duties as Senior FP&A Analyst will include, although will not be limited to:

• Financial planning and analysis globally
• Coordinating the budget cycle
• Timely and accurate management reporting, and presenting on operational and financial outcomes
• Creating, maintaining and developing financial models, and interpreting data and analysis to make recommendations
• Business partnering with operational teams
• Reporting to senior management
• Driving process improvement initiatives to ensure best practice
• Assisting with ad hoc activities, reporting and projects within the Finance function

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• At least 5 years' relevant work experience, ideally within a life science/pharma or hypergrowth business
• Experience working within drug development/R&D/manufacturing environment is a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills and ideally data analytic tools experience, e.g. Power BI
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A keen eye for detail, quality and a drive to excel
• Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
• High level of honesty, integrity, dedication and responsibility
