Cost Analyst

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is currently looking for a Cost Analyst on behalf our client, an innovative multi-national organisation operating in the energy sector.

As this business continues to grow, you will play a key role in managing costs for multiple projects and be part of a high performing team.

In this role, you will be working closely with the Financial Controller, and Project and Construction Managers.

The ideal candidate will need to have a keen eye for detail, be accountable for meeting deadlines on multiple projects and have strong organisation skills. This a great opportunity for a Cost Analyst to build on their existing experience with continued career development.

Responsibilities of the Cost Analyst:

• Review of purchase orders and invoices
• Monitor project costs (actual, commitments, forecast) and provide analyses of budget variations
• Provide timely and accurate cost report at the end of each month
• Evaluate project cash requirements monthly
• Control project cost accounts, coordinate their closing and opening according to project status
• Work on special assignments and manage other ad hoc responsibilities and projects

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Fluency in English - French would be a plus
• IT literate and strong Excel skills
• A self-starter with a hands-on approach to Finance
• Strong Junior Finance Controller or Cost Controller background (advantageous)
