Our client, a leader in its specialist Pharma field, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Director to join their HQ in Amsterdam.

Working closely with the CFO, the successful Senior Finance Director will be overseeing a team of 20 finance professionals and must be able to demonstrate strong management skills of large teams as well as a passion for developing team members.

The business is fast paced, growing rapidly and has succession planning in mind. The ability to work at a fast pace is essential as is a collaborative and, at times, hands-on approach.

Duties of the Senior Finance Director include:

• Provide timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Manage the global Accounting and Financial Reporting teams
• Attend Audit Committee meetings
• Establish accounting policies and procedures
• Implement, document and maintain effective internal control processes

Essential requirements:

• CPA/RA qualified
• Minimum 12 years’ experience working in an international Finance environment
• Strong experience with US GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent time management skills
• Fluent in English
