Job Description

We are working exclusively to support our NASDAQ listed client, an international and dynamic manufacturing business that maximizes technology to make a positive impact on society.

With their technical expertise, the strategic VP FP&A will join the business’ centralised Finance function in Amsterdam, reporting to the CFO and working as part of a small, key team in this global business

Vice President Global FP&A, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands

This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, flexible and innovative leader with relevant strategic commercial experience and a hands-on approach, to add value in this fast-paced and developing environment.

Your duties as Vice President Global Financial Planning and Analysis will include, although will not be limited to:

• Developing and implementing strategy around the global financial and analysis process
• Leading and representing the FP&A function within the business
• Being responsible for the annual budget and forecasting process
• Assisting the CFO with long-range planning and analysis to support business development and other projects
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting to the leadership team and board
• People management and development of FP&A function
• Driving process improvement initiatives to ensure best practice
• Assisting with ad-hoc activities and projects within the Finance function

Requirements:

• At least 15 years’ relevant work experience
• Fluent in English
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Experience supporting leadership teams
• Ideally experience within pharmaceutical or life science industry
• Ability to critically and logically analyze complex problems and give structure
• A proactive and efficient communicator with influencing skills and relationship-building abilities
