Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with an innovative and driven international business, which is looking to recruit an HR Administrator to join its team based in Amsterdam.

The Human Resources function is evolving and maturing, and this role offers a great opportunity to help with this journey, working closely with the HR Manager and HR Generalist to improve processes and systems. 

As you’ll be working within a small team, you’ll have exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle and will be able to develop your experience within an international setting.


HR Administrator, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands


Responsibilities of the HR Administrator:

  • Act as a first point of contact within the HR team, escalating queries to more senior colleagues where appropriate
  • Provide administration assistance across the recruitment cycle, including onboarding process
  • Generate HR-related correspondence
  • Support with the development and improvement of transactional HR processes
  • Produce HR reports and update HR dashboards
  • Assist with management of contracts relating to benefits and pensions
  • Support the Payroll Specialist when required


Experience required:

  • Strong experience of transactional HR processes
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Good knowledge of HR systems, ideally a Dutch system such as AFAS
  • Able to produce reports and analyse data
  • Confident communicating with managers/employees at all levels
  • Eye for detail
  • Fluent in English
