Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is exclusively working with a global medical equipment manufacturing company, which is looking for an HR Generalist to support the Human Resources operations within the Netherlands office.


The HR Generalist will report directly to NL HR Manager.

You will be joining the company at an exciting time, due to participating and supporting in wider HR projects and implementations that are taking place.


Responsibilities of the HR Generalist role include:

  • Managing and developing the onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Ensuring compliance in line with company policies and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate the Dutch payroll
  • Maintenance of all employee personnel, immigration and expatriate data
  • To be the point of contact in providing support to managers and colleagues on al HR-related queries
  • Provide assistance to department heads in preparation and execution of the organisational changes
  • Managing staff annual leave, absenteeism, reintegration and occupational health care
  • Assisting in various HR projects assigned by the HR Manager


Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field of study
  • 4+ years’ experience in operational HR and proven hands-on HR experience
  • 2 years’ experience in Payroll
  • Knowledge of Perman (ADP) - Oracle is an advantage
  • A working knowledge of local labor, tax and social security laws
  • Good understanding of MS Office
  • Fluent in Dutch language (verbal and written) - English is an advantage
