EMEA Recruitment is working with our global financial services client, which is looking to recruit an HR Operations Manager to lead a team of seven across Human Resources Operations and Payroll.
The goal of the business is to become the market leader in its field in the Netherlands. This role will play a key part in delivering a great HR service to the organisation, positively impacting employee satisfaction and contributing to the retention of talent.
The role sits within HR Shared Services and supports employees across a number of European countries.
HR Operations Manager, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands
Responsibilities of the HR Operations Manager:
- Line management and professional development for HR Operational and Payroll Specialists within the team
- Ensure the team is committed to providing a proficient service to their client groups, built on trust
- Contribute to the HRSS strategy, ensuring it is centred on high quality service
- Monitor and measure the service delivered by reviewing performance against SLAs
- Identify trends in operational HR data, and provide insights to HR leadership and management
- Manage and oversee compliance, and conduct audits
- Operate as the key point of contact for all process queries and issues, escalating where necessary
- Provide assistance across employee relations matters
Experience required:
- Broad HR knowledge, and understanding of operational HR and payroll processes
- Proven success managing a team, ideally in a shared services environment
- Understanding of European employment legislation and employee relations activity
- Experience of process mapping and process improvement
- Results-driven and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong communicator at all levels in the business
- Working knowledge of HRIS - Workday an advantage
- Fluent in English
