EMEA Recruitment is working on a retained campaign to recruit a Senior Director Talent Acquisition for our international client, based from their HQ in Amsterdam.
Senior Director – Talent Acquisition - Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Amsterdam
This is a critical role for the organisation as they continue to grow and transform, and will have end responsibility for Talent Acquisition strategy and execution across the European region.

Responsibilities of the Senior Director – Talent Acquisition:
- Create and drive the TA strategy, ensuring the TA function has the right resources and capability to drive business growth
- Lead and inspire a large Talent Acquisition team, delivering a high level of service across attraction, employer branding, talent acquisition partnering, TA operations, executive search and contingent labour
- Create a compelling EVP both internally and externally, ensuring a consistent employer brand across the region
- Develop a culture where recruiting internally becomes the norm and where the required processes are in place to achieve this
- Work closely with other leaders in the Talent hub to ensure an integrated approach to talent attraction, management and development
- Build talent pipelines in response to skills gaps identified within the organisation
- Ensure the business has the necessary tools and technology to attract and recruit top talent across a broad range of roles
- Responsible for financial planning and TA budget
- Significant experience leading a large TA team in an international setting
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, such as retail or FMCG
- A natural collaborator who inspires others and builds trusting relationships
- Continuous improvement mindset, always looking to drive service delivery
- A strategic approach to complex problem-solving, considering solutions, involving stakeholders, and then implementing and driving the change
- Resilient with the ability to challenge the status quo
