My client, a well-established, large global professional services company going through a period of growth, is looking for a Payroll Officer. I am delighted to be working alongside them to recruit for this role.

I am currently searching for a Payroll Officer with knowledge of Dutch payroll to join a small, diverse team.

As you are working as part of a small, diverse team servicing clients on a global scale, it is vital that you have strong communication skills and can work to strict deadlines, as well as being a team player.

Payroll Officer, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands, Remote/Hybrid working

As a Payroll Officer, your responsibilities are:

• Processing payrolls for complex clients
• Processing salary splits and shadow payrolls
• Set up payrolls for regular clients
• Join calls and client meetings with Senior Payroll Officer or Supervisor HRP
• Processing year-end reporting
• Preparing payments in banking system
• General tasks for the team
• Other checks for complete client portfolio, such as salary norm 30% ruling
• Providing input for improvements department

Payroll Officer requirements:

• A payroll qualification in PDL - a degree in VPS is advantageous
• Proven experience in a Payroll Administrator role within a payroll delivery position
• Previous Dutch payroll is a must
• Exposure to expat/international payrolls is desirable
• Experience of processing payrolls end-to-end
• Seasoned in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English
