Job Description

Due to recent promotions, we are exclusively recruiting for a Finance Lead on behalf of our client, a global body looking at sustainability and best practice within business to make a positive impact on our world.

Working in a small team of 4, this is a unique opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join a supportive and inclusive business and use their experience and proactive approach to add value.

This role will require you to act as partner to the business and have an adaptable approach to work with different audiences - a great opportunity for someone in Big 4 looking to transition into their first role in industry, or a qualified Accountant with experience working with stakeholders outside of the Finance function.

This role is 100% remote working.

Responsibilities of the Finance Lead:

  • Act as business partner to the company sharing financial and accounting perspectives
  • Oversee and review financial administration ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Management reporting
  • Review, maintain and develop finance processes to help ensure best practice
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Support the coaching and development of the finance team
  • Support ad hoc activities and projects within the Finance function

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years’ relevant Audit/Accounting/Finance experience
  • RA, CA or equivalent professional Accounting qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance or similar
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • A keen eye for detail with good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Hands on approach to your work
  • High level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility
