Financial Accountant -Exclusive

EMEA Recruitment are pleased to be working exclusively with a market leader in manufacturing, in the Almere area, in search for a Financial Accountant.

As a Financial accountant, you will demonstrate your knowledge in logistics and sales as well as inventory management, cost of goods sold and goods in transit accounting.

For the successful Financial Accountant, this is a chance to be responsible for the periodic reporting aspect of accounting for a sales and holdings business.

Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

• Reconciliation and maintenance of intercompany records
• Management of the goods in transit accounts and specification
• Financial reporting under IFRS basis for consolidation purposes and Dutch GAAP for statutory purposes
• Working as back up for the Accounting team members
• Process improvement and implementation
• Record, account and analyse the sales and holding administration

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in an Accounting or Audit role
• Exact Globe experience is strongly desired
• A degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
• Dutch GAAP and IFRS knowledge
• Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills
