Our client, a global leader in logistics, is expanding its Finance function due to recent growth and is now recruiting a Financial Analyst FP&A.

Financial Analyst FP&A - Overijssel, Netherlands

This role offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself within financial reporting and analysis, servicing multiple stakeholders across the group.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst FP&A

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:?£? 

• Proactive analytics on month-end close and monthly reporting
• Internal control execution and monitoring
• Transactional data analysis and GL adjustments
• Management reporting, both local requirements and input for global consolidation
• Periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis for Finance and business partners
• Drive innovation and continuous improvements on close and reporting processes
• Consolidate and manage the development and reporting of actuals, plan, update, latest best estimate (LBE) and long-range plan (LRP) including capital, project expense and headcount related to all VLOG legal entities
• Influence multiple key strategic financial planning, analysis and reporting-related initiative projects, providing financial support
• Develop strong partnership with local and global business teams and various external groups, including Supply Chain headquarters

Experience required

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance or similar
• Previous experience within a similar Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role
• Good knowledge of US GAAP - Dutch GAAP is a benefit
• Accurate, with good analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
• Good communicator and good at building strong relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications - knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
