EMEA Recruitment are searching for an experienced Site Buyer to join our client, a European market leader in the essential chemical and energy industry with a heavy focus on sustainability, in this brand new role.

Site Buyer, Hengelo, Overijssel, Netherlands

As a Site Buyer, you will be supporting the Procurement team to define and drive strategy, through working closely with both local and regional stakeholders internally.

Procuring all the materials and services required to keep the site working efficiently, this role will offer you the opportunity to really make a difference and add value in a changing organisation with a lot of autonomy in the position.

Primary duties of the Site Buyer:

• Local and multi-site negotiations and contracting together with the wider team
• Aligning the Procurement strategy to ensure optimal cost of ownership for the site
• Working closely with stakeholders to ensure implementation of supplier agreements on site
• Ensuring that supplies, materials and services are delivered to the site in an accurate and timely manner

Skills and experience required:

• 5+ years of experience within Procurement in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and practical experience with an ERP system such as SAP or BI tools
• Strong analytical profile
• Fluency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written)
