EMEA Recruitment is pleased to share a newly created role for an IT Controller to work for a successful multi-national company within The Hague.

This role will report directly to the Chief Information Officer.

IT Controller - The Hague, Zuid Holland, Netherlands

As an IT Controller, you are part of Global IT, mainly focusing on IT-related projects. In this varied role, you act as a Finance business partner and proactively advise management on Finance and Business topics.

Responsibilities of the IT Controller:
 

• Prepare the annual IT budget for various cost centres and update of the monthly forecasts
• Analyse financial figures, coordinate reporting processes and own a part of the group financial statements
• Prepare and provide instructions regarding financial reporting and accounting matters to IT departments
• Ensure accuracy of recording of costs on the correct cost centres
• Completeness of the month-end accruals for the various projects
• Timely and correct invoicing of global/regional/local fees and correct base for tendering, budgeting and planning
• Build strong relationships with internal and external clients

• Bachelor’s degree in a Finance-related discipline
• Member of a professional body (Chartered/Certified Accountant/Controller)
• 3+ years’ working experience in a similar role within an international environment
• Clear understanding of IT-related processes

Fluent in English (verbal and written)
