Our client, an established international expert in the production industry, is currently looking for a Senior Group Financial Accountant.

Senior Group Financial Accountant, Noord Brabant, Netherlands

As part of the current business transformation, we are recruiting a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join a team of ten driven and high performing individuals. You will report directly to the Group Controller and be part of an open office with accessible management, including the CFO.

The Senior Group Financial Accountant role will suit someone with five-plus years’ experience in Financial Accounting or Audit.

You will be autonomous, independent and proactive in your work, as well as an easy communicator to bridge the collaboration gaps between the Group Control and Finance departments.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• 50% Accounting tasks, 50% projects and stakeholders
• Working closely with group entities, you will prepare monthly financial reporting
• Correctly report P&L items, and balance sheet analysis and confirmation
• Ad-hoc inquiries and information requests from other departments
• Support external auditors with annual financial statements
• Group level adherence and monitoring to company statutory reporting requirements
• Financial Accounting in line with IFRS

Relevant experience and qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in Financial Accounting or Audit role
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Dutch GAAP and IFRS knowledge is preferred
• Confidence with IT systems and ERP
• Industry relevant experience is a bonus
• Proficiency in SAP and group consolidation tools is beneficial
• Fluent in English (Dutch language is a plus)
