EMEA Recruitment is partnering with our global packaging client in its search for a Data Governance and Power BI Analyst.  
 
The role will directly contribute to growth by increasing the organization's capacity, and creating data-driven insights and forward-thinking performance management, data structure and reporting.

Data Governance and Power BI Analyst – Exclusive, Amstelveen, Noord Holland, Netherlands
 
 
Responsibilities of the Data Governance and Power BI Analyst: 
 
  • Establishing Data Governance Framework in collaboration with business and technology subject matter experts (e.g. IT, ERP consultants) that leads to high data integrity and availability to assist decision making 
  • Create data mapping, data structure to enable single source of truth (SSOT) and reporting structure to Power BI as performance management platform 
  • Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners 
  • Proactively seek out and understand business and market needs 
  • Perform analysis, modelling and other quantitative techniques in order to assess business issues and/or recommend courses of action to meet business objectives 
  • Ensure accurate and on time delivery of various deliverables, maintaining KPIs, power point decks, data mining and secondary research, and be an analytical backstop for the stakeholders 
  • Assist, collaborate and gain deep understanding of all commercial work streams, such as reporting, budgeting, pricing, performance management and deal support
 
Experienced required:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in the fields of Economics/Information Technologies)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Well-rounded abilities to conduct qualitative and quantitative, detail-oriented analysis
  • 3+ years’ experience in Business Analytics 
  • A background in delivering data initiatives in Agile tooling (e.g. Jira)  
  • Excellent English skills (written and verbal)  
  • Proficient level of Power BI, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
