Job Description

Work for a multi-national electronics organisation searching for an experienced Business Controller to join the EMEA Sales Operations Team.

 

Support various countries and departments, and lead on demand planning, budgets, forecasts and target setting.

 

Work closely with the commercial leaders and liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders across different departments.

Responsibilities of the Business Controller

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Controlling management P&L’s, focused on sales, margin, and marketing cost versus targets including:
    • Annual budgets & target setting
    • Monthly & weekly forecasting cycles, as well as alignment with stakeholders
    • Material and account level demand planning
    • Marketing cost accounting & settlement
    • Variance analyses & management reporting
  • Pricing:
    • Maintain customer price group structures in SAP
    • Analyze pricing tactics, recommend improvements
    • Administer Wholesaler compensation
  • Business advisory role: understand the company performance, develop plans to improve financial performance including ROI analysis on business proposals
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist with the audit processes
  • Initiate and support process improvement projects and business development initiatives

 

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar
  • Previous years’ experience in a business or sales controlling role
  • Experience using ERP and associated reporting systems (e.g., SAP, BI, Qlik)
  • Excellent knowledge of IT applications
  • Accurate, team player, strong sense of responsibility
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn the company’s business
  • Strong interpersonal skills
