Job Description

We’re looking for a Share Plan Controller on behalf of our client, a truly dynamic organisation in the technology, media & telecom (TMT) sector.

It is a listed company that now has an exciting opening for a Share Plan Controller. The company is active in 30+ countries and Hilversum, Netherlands, is home to its global HQ.

As a key member of the Finance organisation, the Share Plan Controller joining this organisation will thrive in a fast growing and evolving environment. You should be able to work to tight deadlines with a desire to develop yourself further in this international setting. Hybrid working is available!

Share Plan Controller, Hilversum, Noord Holland, Netherlands, Remote/Hybrid working available

Responsibilities of the Share Plan Controller:

• Accurate and timely handling of the administration of the company’s stock option plans
• Responsible for the periodic vesting events and ad-hoc exercise events
• Answering queries regarding the stock options from HR teams and employees
• Responsible for managing the process of new shares or options under existing share incentive plans
• Setting up new option plans with lawyers and the Group Controller
• Working closely with the external corporate lawyers and brokers and the HR teams of the operating companies
• Responsible for the monthly equity and option overviews for management reporting purposes
• Responsible for the applicable IFRS valuations of share incentive plans - for this, you work closely with external advisors
• Overseeing the work of the Share Plan Administrator

Ideal profile:

• 5-10 years’ relevant experience with share plans
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Tax
• Preferably advanced Excel skills
• You’re fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
• Flexible and diligent approach
