Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is looking for a Senior Global Compensation Manager to join an international business currently entering new markets and scaling at pace. 

Reporting to the Global Director of Compensation and Benefits, you will be responsible for end-to-end global compensation programs and will play a key role in driving continued growth in the business.

Through effective strategies, you will support the business to attract and retain top talent, and will provide expertise on compensation matters globally and at a local level as the business expands both organically and through acquisition.

The business will be opening an office in Amsterdam shortly, and there will be options for a hybrid working or fully remote arrangement in the future.

Responsibilities of the Senior Global Compensation Manager:

  • Operate as the subject matter expert in all aspects of compensation
  • Develop and manage the end-to-end annual salary planning processes and other merit increase programs
  • Own and manage the half-yearly bonus program
  • Conduct market analysis and compensation studies, offering recommendations on promotions, internal equity, market pay adjustments and external salary offers
  • Ensure compensation plans are consistently administered in line with company policies and government regulations on a global, regional and country level
  • Conduct job evaluation on new and existing roles
  • Participate in global compensation and market surveys
  • Assist in change management activities involving reorganisations, mergers/acquisitions and transfers
  • Provide reports and analysis as required by senior managers
  • Responsible for equal pay audits globally


Experience required:

  • Significant experience operating in international compensation roles
  • Extensive knowledge of global compensation programs, policies and legislation
  • Proven success in a fast-growing, scale-up organization preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills - able to manipulate and analyze data
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and compensation and benefit systems
  • Good understanding of job evaluation and job analysis tools
  • Creative thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Fluent in English
